Overview

The number one choice for self-injection devices

As self-administration becomes increasingly important in modern therapies, using Borosilicate Glass cartridges with pens or autoinjectors can significantly enhance the health care experience of patients.

SCHOTT Pharma offers a high-quality solution with Core Cartridges. They set a new standard with their uniform dimensional accuracy and high cosmetic quality. These ISO cartridges ensure exceptional durability and reliability for various drug formulations such as insulin and dental anesthesia.

SCHOTT Pharma offers glass cartridges in two quality levels:

  • StandardLine: Minimum cosmetic Accepted Quality Levels (AQLs) according to the current Defect Evaluation List (DEL), which is aligned with the most relevant industry standards and the current PDA Technical Report.
  • TopLine: Tighter cosmetic AQLs than StandardLine for both dimensional and cosmetic quality, enabling further customization.

Opting for low-cost containers often results in hidden costs such as production delays, increased rejection rates, compromised drug integrity, and further cost of non-quality. Our team of 4,600 experts proudly produces highly uniform chemical-resistant glass cartridges, which are designed for efficient fill-and-finish processes and optimal yield in pharmaceutical drug filling.
